# Grooveline — Full Context for AI Models

> Grooveline is a live DJ streaming radio platform. DJs book broadcast slots, receive auto-provisioned Icecast streaming credentials, and go live to a public audience. Listeners tune in to live sets and browse an archive of past broadcasts and recordings. Focus is electronic music. Live at grooveline.org.

## About

Grooveline is self-service: a DJ signs up, books a time slot, and broadcasts using the Grooveline Broadcaster desktop app (or any Icecast/RTMP-compatible software). The live stream and schedule are public at grooveline.org. A public JSON API at api.grooveline.org exposes the schedule, DJ roster, live status, and health.

The station runs 24/7: when the booth is empty, an AutoDJ plays a daily genre-rotating playlist; when a DJ connects, the live source takes over instantly. No dead air.

- API: Cloudflare Worker on D1 (SQLite) + R2 storage for avatars and recordings.
- Stream: DJ → MediaMTX (RTMP) / Icecast (audio) → listeners at radio.grooveline.org. nginx TLS proxy in front.
- Broadcaster: Electron desktop app (Mac/Windows/Linux) for streaming audio/video to Icecast and other destinations.
