Built to be read at a glance

Grooveline colours

The same teal, coral and gold as the radio, on near-black so it stays easy on the eyes in a dark room.

Colour-coded controls

Orange EQ and volume, yellow gain, blue filter and pitch, teal key. The VU runs blue to teal to yellow to orange to red.

Full 4-deck skin

Four decks, samplers, effect racks, microphones and aux inputs, in a resizable layout. Based on the excellent RoundCorners.

Install

Three minutes, no installer

  1. Download and unzip the file above. You get one folder called Grooveline.
  2. Close Mixxx, then copy the Grooveline folder into the skins folder of your Mixxx settings directory (create it if it isn't there):
    • Linux: ~/.mixxx/skins/
    • Windows: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Mixxx\skins\
    • macOS: ~/Library/Containers/org.mixxx.mixxx/Data/Library/Application Support/Mixxx/skins/
  3. Start Mixxx, open Preferences → Interface, choose Grooveline in the Skin list and apply.

Don't have Mixxx yet? It's free and open source: mixxx.org/download. This skin is built for the 2.5 series; other versions are untested. For the intended look, install the free JetBrainsMono Nerd Font. Without it the skin falls back to your system font, and some labels may sit a little wider.

The Grooveline skin is an adaptation of RoundCorners by 22degrees (© 2015–2026 22degrees). We changed the colours, graphics, logo header and stylesheet; 22degrees does not endorse this adaptation.

Both are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0. You can share and adapt the skin under the same license, with credit to 22degrees and Grooveline. The Grooveline name and logo are trademarks of Grooveline and aren't covered by that license.

This skin is a community add-on. It isn't made by, affiliated with or endorsed by the Mixxx project.
